Hello there, this week's Twenty-third edition of Blogger Sketch Sunday is a little different because these drawings are not of a blogger. I was commissioned by a lovely and energetic lady to produce an artwork for her blog header. She requested three fashion drawing-type figures dressed in military inspired clothing posed like something you would see in a boutique store window. This blog header differs in many ways from previous headers I have drawn in that A] Her blog isn't up and running yet, but was waiting on my header to get up and going. B] This is actually a much larger work than my sketches so there is much more detail. and C] COLOR COLOR COLOR!!! I present to you my first fashion sketches in color. I used watercolors with an ink pen for this piece. Do you like the color added? Or should I stick to black and white?

They are such beautiful sketches! I love that they're in colour, but I really do like your black and white ones a little better, only because it allows every reader to imagine the colours they would want on the garments - I guess it's just a tad more versatile. On another note, you are so talented!! xxx

I love the color! Keep doing it if you feel comfortable with it. I feel like so many new blogs with interesting ideas are launching and I'm so excited. I feel like new life is being breathed into the fashion blogging community. Oh, and did I mention how amazing your header design is (an eye-catching header is half the battle) and you've definitely created that for the blogger.
